Fun with Easter Dye

Here are some pictures of our Easter Weekend. I made the girls shirts to wear on Sunday. Scout's first Easter and her easter basket. She got a new dress and rattle.

Stevie loved her Easter shirt. She wanted to wear it to school on Monday but it was dirty. She loved the Easter bunny this year.

Our Family Picture on Easter. The Nesselrodt Four!! We went to my grandmother's house to eat and see the family.

Stevie loved looking for her eggs in the house due to the rain. She had to show off her eggs. She got some jewlery, money, candy, pens, and Lighting McQueen and Tow Mater. She is in love with the movie Cars. She wants her birthday to be Cars.

Mason and Stevie dying eggs. They were so excited to see the eggs turn colors. Mason kept saying awesome!!

Scout got to join in the fun by seating by her basket from Nina.

What a mess we made at Nina's house. Stevie dropped the egg in the cup and splashed all over the table and my hands. I had dyed hands for a day.

My Shinning Star

Stevie was shinning star this past week at school. She was so proud to stand on the star as the lights were turned off and flashlights were used to make her shinning star. I am very proud of my little girl!!!

This weekend I went to make sure that my pictures were burned to a CD so I could delete them off my camera. Stevie's CD from Christmas (my dads) til now was some how deleted. I am hoping my dad as some pictures I can get. I cried most of the day on saturday. I have lost her pictures of Shooting Star and Sparkling Star plus some cute ones right after Scout was born. It really made me sick to my stomach. I keep telling myself they were just pictures and there are many more memories to capture.

I am growing like a weed!!

I only have two weeks left being at home. It's bittersweet knowing this is the last infant stage I will go through. I am trying to enjoy the last few days. It's amazing how fast they grow!!

I am 4 weeks old!!!

Today was our one month check up. I can't believe she is already a month old. We are doing great she is not 9 lbs 8 oz and 21 1/2 inches long. She has almost gained a pound and has grown one inch since birth. She did get one shot. It breaks my heart when they look at you and you know they are thinking what did you do to me. She cried just a second. She is starting to hold her head up and is smiling when you talk to her. At times you can hear her cooing and trying to find her voice in such a loud house (Stevie).
This is the dress I wore home for the hospital. With Stevie I could not button it in the back and Scout was able to wear it. My how styles have changed.

Can you see the red in her hair? I wonder if it will stay that color or change.

One of my favorite pictures.

Being a Mom is great!!!

I am loving being a mom of two. It's a bit tiring at times but I am excited to see our family grow and what is to come in the future. This time around you can really appreciate the little things more. You are much more relaxed and not so worried all the time. You have to learn how to divide your attention. You marriage is tested again and hopefully you have the support from your spouse to help with one child while you have another. I am truly thankful for my husband. He is a great help and he loves to spend time with each girl. He picks up on my cues when I need help or time away for a minute. I am really blessed.

She's Here!! Scout Elizabeth Nesselrodt

SCOUT ELIZABETH NESSELRODT

Scout was born Thursday Feb. 19th, 2009 at 9:07 am. She was 8 lbs 8 oz and 20 1/2 inches long.

It was a great delivery (c-section). She came out screaming and in good health. They did notice a heart mummer that was gone by Monday. I had a bit of a scare on Sunday the day after we got home with spinal headaches. I had a blood patch and everything was great. We are enjoying the new addition to the family. Stevie has been such a great helper. She loves to give kisses and hugs, hold her, and take baths with her.

Spider girl loves to help out and hold her baby sister.

THe new Nesselrodt family of four!!! What a wonderful experience. Two sweet daughters.

Stevie loves to give kisses to her sister. It's so neat to see the two together.
