Today was our one month check up. I can't believe she is already a month old. We are doing great she is not 9 lbs 8 oz and 21 1/2 inches long. She has almost gained a pound and has grown one inch since birth. She did get one shot. It breaks my heart when they look at you and you know they are thinking what did you do to me. She cried just a second. She is starting to hold her head up and is smiling when you talk to her. At times you can hear her cooing and trying to find her voice in such a loud house (Stevie).
This is the dress I wore home for the hospital. With Stevie I could not button it in the back and Scout was able to wear it. My how styles have changed.Thursday, March 19, 2009

Being a Mom is great!!!
I am loving being a mom of two. It's a bit tiring at times but I am excited to see our family grow and what is to come in the future. This time around you can really appreciate the little things more. You are much more relaxed and not so worried all the time. You have to learn how to divide your attention. You marriage is tested again and hopefully you have the support from your spouse to help with one child while you have another. I am truly thankful for my husband. He is a great help and he loves to spend time with each girl. He picks up on my cues when I need help or time away for a minute. I am really blessed.

She's Here!! Scout Elizabeth Nesselrodt
SCOUT ELIZABETH NESSELRODT
Scout was born Thursday Feb. 19th, 2009 at 9:07 am. She was 8 lbs 8 oz and 20 1/2 inches long.
It was a great delivery (c-section). She came out screaming and in good health. They did notice a heart mummer that was gone by Monday. I had a bit of a scare on Sunday the day after we got home with spinal headaches. I had a blood patch and everything was great. We are enjoying the new addition to the family. Stevie has been such a great helper. She loves to give kisses and hugs, hold her, and take baths with her.
